NE 60th Ave from NE Halsey St to NE Holladay St - Proposed Improvements

NE Halsey St to NE Hassalo St 

​

• Sidewalks will be widened on both sides of NE 60th Ave from the current width of 4’ to a new width of 6’.

 

• To accommodate wider sidewalks, the existing vehicle travel lanes will be reduced from the current width of 12’ to a new width of 10’.

 

•  New crosswalks, curb extensions, and street lighting will be installed at two intersections:  NE 60th Ave and NE Wasco St and NE 60th Ave and NE Hassalo St.

 

• Existing on-street parking between NE Halsey St and NE Hassalo St will remain largely as is, except where parking will be removed at proposed curb extensions at NE Wasco St and NE Hassalo St.

NE Hassalo St to NE Oregon St 

​

• Sidewalks will be widened on both sides of NE 60th Ave from the current width of 4’ to a new width of 6’.

​

• 5’-wide bike lanes with 3’-wide buffers to separate cyclists from the vehicle travel lane will be added to both sides of NE 60th from NE Hassalo St to NE Oregon St.

​

• On-street parking will be removed from both sides of NE 60th Ave from the south side of NE Hassalo St to NE Oregon St.
